Lodging

The event will be massive, and so places to stay near there can quickly sell out. If it does, don’t worry, here’s a tip for you. When searching online for a place to stay, trying searching for hotels in King of Prussia. When you do, you will find that the Hyatt House Philadelphia/King of Prussia is only a 15 to 20-minute drive to the event. The Hyatt offers guests spacious rooms that are designed as if you were still at home. You can choose from a variety of rooms or suites with some having full kitchenettes. They also have a business center, fitness center, and an indoor pool. If that’s not enticing enough, they also offer free internet access and free breakfast. If you are wondering, they are also pet-friendly. So, staying at the Hyatt is a good choice, providing you the comforts of home with modern amenities.

Transportation

If you are flying in and are arriving at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL), then you will have access to, at the time of writing, seven car rental companies there. If you are thinking more along the lines of public transportation, then the Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) can get you to the event as well. Be warned; it may take a chunk of your time commuting to the event. So if you are in a hurry, you will need to plan ahead. If you opted to stay at the Hyatt, they do offer shuttle service within a 3-mile radius, so it’s a good option to have if you need or want to get around the area of the hotel.

Where to Eat

If hunger strikes while you are at the Philly Home & Garden Show, the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center will have a variety of food concessions on site. If you rather venture out, there is a restaurant across the way called The Hub, which serves American cuisine. Other eateries within a 10-minute drive also offer American food along with restaurants serving Indian, Chinese, and Italian cuisines. Notably, there is an Uno Pizzeria & Grill just 5-minutes from the event.

Other Attractions

Whether you are traveling solo or with the family and are looking for other things to see and do after the event, then there are other attractions in the area to entertain you and everyone in your group. Within the same vicinity of the event, there is an indoor trampoline place called Sky Zone Trampoline Park, there is also the American Treasure Tour Museum, and bowling at Arnold’s Bowling Bistro & Bar. Legoland Discovery Center is also only a 24-minute drive away. For those who like Vegas-style action, head over to Valley Forge Casino on 1st Avenue in King of Prussia. Oh, and the National Memorial Arch is also near the casino.
